Matrix Boulder Opal Pendant in Copper and Silver Setting

This pendant is made from copper, argentium silver* and fine silver*. The oval shaped Matrix Boulder Opal stone, with bright flashes of blue, green and teal, is set in a fine silver bezel. The copper back plate has an argentium silver reticulation on the surface giving it some unusual patterns and relief. A flower pattern cutout on the back shows blue flashes in the stone, and that the stone is indeed a solid boulder opal. A truly unique piece.

Size

Stone is 15 x 13 mm. Overall length of pendant, including bail, is 56 mm (2.2”)

Comes with a 46 cm (18”) anti-tarnish sterling silver chain.

*Argentium Silver is 93.5% to 96% pure silver. Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. By comparison, Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver. Argentium is more tarnish resistant than Sterling Silver. Fine Silver is softer and more pliable than Argentium and Sterling Silver so it can be shaped more easily around a stone to form a bezel. Fine Silver is also highly resistant to tarnish.
