Matrix Boulder Opal Pattern Stone in Copper

This unique Matrix Boulder Opal pattern stone has shades of brown, red and gray with yellow, white and cream coloured potch*, all within the stones rich brown ironstone.  Even the back of the stone has an interesting pattern. There are some flashes of green and purple opal as well.  The ‘cage’ is made from copper wire that has had a patina to give it a warm and rustic look.

Stone Size

36 x 25 x 5 mm.  Overall pendant length is 42 mm (1.65″).

This pendant comes with an adjustable brown cotton cord.

*Potch, also known as common opal, is opal that does not display colour. Potch can be white to yellow to grey in colour. Opal which does display colour is known as precious opal.
